For a world in which every drop of the ocean quenches our thirst
A SweetSea, after extensive research and dialogue, has successfully identified the optimal location for its inaugural commercial plant in Barbados, a decision reached following a meeting with the Ambassador of Barbados for Brazil, Ms. Tonika Sealy-Thompson, at a hub for Business Solutions called SofTown, in Brasilia.
Barbados, with its long-standing challenges with water scarcity and its dependence on imported water, emerged as the ideal locale, particularly after experiencing the welcoming and harmonious spirit of its residents. The plant will be situated in the Spring Garden Industrial Estate, serving as a sustainable alternative water source for both Barbados and the wider Caribbean Community.
Initially, the plant will have the capacity to produce 400,000 liters of mineral water per month to be sold in the local and Caribbean market.
The venture has been made possible due to the support and visionary efforts of Export Barbados, Invest Barbados, and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs. SweetSea is poised to play a crucial role in alleviating the region’s water issues and offering a new way to take Barbados culture and vivid spirit around the world.
